Want to work at Falconridge Animal Hospital?
Here's what's available as of August 2026:
Veterinary Technician
Are you an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Technician who takes pride in delivering top-quality care to animals and excellent service to their owners? Our busy, well-equipped veterinary practice is seeking a skilled technician to join our friendly and supportive team.
In this role, you’ll assist with patient care, anesthesia, surgery, radiography, dentistry, and laboratory work. You’ll play a vital part in educating clients and ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. We value teamwork, initiative, and a genuine love of animals.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Veterinary Technician able to be registered with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association
- Experience is preferred
- Confident handling animals of all temperaments and species — including our exotic pet patients
- Proficient in anesthesia monitoring, blood collection, catheter placement, and lab diagnostics
- Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
We Offer:
- A positive, respectful work environment with appropriate mentorship
- Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth
- Competitive wages and staff pet care discounts
- A chance to work with a diverse range of patients — from cats and dogs to birds, reptiles, and small mammals
If you’re passionate about veterinary medicine and want to work with a team that values both animals and people, we’d love to hear from you!

Veterinary Receptionist
Some veterinary receptionists answer phones. Great ones manage the entire hospital flow.
We’re looking for an experienced, upbeat Veterinary Receptionist who loves people, loves animals, and thrives in a busy environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Are exceptionally organized and notice the little things
- Can juggle phones, clients, appointments, and a busy medical team without losing your cool
- Communicate with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
- Take initiative and solve problems rather than passing them along
- Take direction well and are genuinely open to learning and feedback
- Take pride in doing things properly, not just getting them done
- Want to be part of a team that cares about both excellent medicine and excellent client service
We are a small-animal hospital with a strong exotic-pet component, so no two days are quite the same.
This is not a “just answer the phones and collect payments” job. Our reception team plays a critical role in patient care and the client experience.
What we offer:
- A supportive team
- Opportunities to learn
- Continuing education support
- A varied caseload—including exotic animals
- A workplace where initiative and great work are genuinely appreciated.
If you're thinking, “That sounds perfect,” send us your resume and a short note telling us why.
