Do I need to book an appointment?
We recommend that you phone ahead to book an appointment. This will guarantee that we can serve you promptly. We always do our best to accommodate walk-ins, however, our appointments take priority.

What form of payment do you accept?
We require payment at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept the following forms of payment:

Do you offer financing?
If payment in full is not possible, then an agreement can be set up with one of the following financing companies.   This process must be initiated BEFORE treatment of the patient.

Emergencies will be accepted based on severity of the animal’s condition.  Our staff are skilled at assessing the patient upon arrival.

What type of animals do you treat?
At Falconridge Animal Hospital we see any small animal that can be kept as a pet or part of a backyard garden in the City of Calgary, including:
  • Dogs
  • Cats
  • Birds
  • Reptiles
  • Potbellied pigs
  • Small mammals
  • Fish
  • Backyard chickens
  • Bees

How do I bring my pet to see you?
  • Large dogs are best brought in on a leash with a well-fitting collar or harness. Please ensure that your dog cannot slip out of the collar or harness.
  • Small dogs can be brought to the hospital on a leash or in a carrier.
  • Cats can be brought to the hospital in a carrier.
  • Small pets can be brought to the hospital in a carrier or a cardboard box.
  • Birds can be brought to the hospital in a small cage or a box.
  • Fish can be brought to the hospital in a water-tight container with a lid. Some fish will need to be brought in with a heat source.
