Dentistry

Pet dentistry is a crucial aspect of your pet's overall health and well-being. Dental health is closely linked to overall health. Bacteria from infected gums or teeth can travel through the bloodstream and affect vital organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys.

Dental issues such as gum disease, tooth decay, and infections can be extremely painful for pets. Pets are often very good at hiding pain, so by the time you notice a problem, it may have progressed significantly. Regular dental care helps prevent these issues before they cause your pet discomfort. Our veterinary team can help you and your pet become used to routing toothbrushing and oral care.

Dental Disease

If your pet has moderate dental disease, our veterinary team can help by performing a dental cleaning and polishing under a general anesthetic. This will improve your pet’s oral health and reduce the risk of these serious health conditions.

If your pet has severe dental disease, our veterinary team can perform a complete dental assessment with dental x-rays under a general anesthetic. We will then make recommendations to extract diseased teeth and clean the teeth that can remain.

Surgery

If extensive oral surgery is required, referral to a board-certified veterinary dentist is possible.
