Imaging
Imaging, both x-rays and ultrasounds, are another tool that our veterinary team uses to gather information about your pet’s health.Our hospital is outfitted with a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine. This machine allows us to take high resolution images and process them on-the-spot. Our skilled veterinarians can assess the images, or we can send the images to a board-certified veterinary radiologist for review.
Our veterinarian team is trained in Point-of-Care ultrasound for more urgent evaluation of soft tissues.
When a more in-depth investigation into soft tissues is needed , such as an Echocardiogram, we call upon a specialized ultrasonographer to perform the imaging and submit the images to board-certified radiologists or cardiologists for review.
